Hurricane Gustav has torn through Haiti, creating the worst damage to areas in the southeast. The number of total reported deaths has reached 50. In our village of Cyvadier houses, crops, livestock and agricultural nurseries have been swept away by winds reaching up to 130 miles per hour. Officials are broadcasting saftey instructions in anticipation of floods.
